Valsts aģentūra "Jaunatnes starptautisko programmu aģentūra"

“Agency for International Programs for Youth” is supervised by the Ministry of Education and Science. The objective of Agency is to promote youth activities and mobility, to work with voluntary services for youth, non-formal learning and youth information programs and projects as well as support the link between non-formal learning and lifelong education.

Agency works according to Public agency law, statute of The Cabinet of Ministers of Latvia, year 2004, 13^th of July, Nr. 592 “Statute of Agency for International Programs for Youth”, national agency’s “Agency for International Programs for Youth” regulations from year 2008, 31^st of October, Nr. 9, instructions of The Cabinet of Ministers, year 2006, 15^th of November, Nr. 883 as well as with other laws and regulations.

Agency gives possibility for youth to write projects, spreads interesting and useful information for youth about their possibilities in Europe, supports exchange of experience and ensures consultations about project writing.
